Topic: CB 750 K7 Rear shocks

I am thinking of replacing the rear shocks on my K7 and was wondering whether the K7's shocks are same in length with the previous (K1-K6) models. It now wears what appears to be older type of shocks(K1-K6) with a spring cover over.
Does anyone know whether you could buy the K7 fitted with spring covers from the dealer shop?
Also i've read a large number of postings in these forums about fitting aftermarket shocks, do all these suppliers Hagon, Ikon, Progressive etc. supply the right length products or do you have to sort that out with extra pieces. Is that a good thing?

I think decent companies sell you the correct length shock for your bike. FWIW, I paid US179 for hagons and am v. happy with them.

I like the black springs without the shroud for a more "works" look but you can set them up either way.  There are quite a few retailers on-line that sell them .... MAW is a popular site.  FYI
