RC planes here ;D  They're usually a lot of fun.....until you have one come apart or have a mid-air with someone else, then you're wandering around looking for salvagable parts!!! :D

Sounds like wed night after the lights went out and no one could see where their trucks went..CRUNCH!!!!

awesome!

A couple of guys at work have nitro helis. They're really cool to watch, especially when someone looses it in the sun and flies it into the trees beside the hangar, lol!!!

i'm not sure if its just the electrics that are scalextric or the track as well... he has been consulting w/ a "big wig slot car guy" that said this was the most flexible and easy to work w/ track.

you should have seen underneath their christmas tree(s!!)... i'm guessing at least 3 or 4 hundred in slot cars!  he wants everything in doubles... one to drive and one to collect in the case.

yes, we destroy cars rapidly.   ;D  there is a growing junkyard on the pit garage roof.   ;D  mirrors, exhaust, driver heads.   8)

Update and a bump....

Just finished building race shocks for my RC18T and lifted it back up to off road height since they no longer race the 18th scale trucks at the indoor track. Everyone has gone to 12th scale pan cars including me. As of today the RC18T shares the shelf with a Team associated RC12L4 pan car. I bought the pan car used for $325 and have spent probably around $300 more in needed supplies to have the correct tools to maintain it. Basically one of the RC racers here built a new car and had his used car up for sale all it needed was a radio to get it running. He supplied a used radio as well for it.

Since we are all pic whores heres some pics of the RC18T and the RC12L4 together. I have two bodies for the RC12L4.

For me, slot cars are more fun, either home HO or 1/32 racing or if you can find a commercial 1/24 public raceway. Total blast.

Tramp Were do you race the slots?
I still race them mostly 1/24th scale and then HO.
I do have some 1/32 cars but i don't run them much.
My kids have some eletric R/C cars but don't use them much.
Not like when I was a kid. I was running a R/C Jerobee Mclaren and a Cox dragster when i was like 8 or 9 years old.

I've got a Traxxas Revo 2.5R for sale, with over $1200-$1300 invested. Proably needs a engine, but it will run and drive well. May just need a tune? Regardless, a engine for it is only $100 through Traxxas. I'm sick of screwing with it to tell the truth. LOADS of atermarket billet parts, etc, a BUNCH new in bag as well. Aluminum tool tote, radio, charger, EVERYTHING.

I'm taking offers or trades on old Honda project bikes..  ;)

I'll keep the RC10 aluminum pan, Losi buggy, and Heli... Not totally leaving RC, EVER.

Hi,
I have a Associated RC10gt with many mods except the engine....Associateds engines are rock-hard!!!

Associated TC3 that runs like on a track.....slot car track that is ;)  And it has the IPC pro ESC that can run a 9 turn.

Losi T18 that has been nothing but junk....well, I shouldn't say that...but it's because of there oil filled shocks..they keep leaking.

HPI's RS4 mini that has minor mods like an Associated LRP super pro ESC with reverse, and a JR digital radio.

A Team losi Nitro truck which I forget the model of it ;D ;D ;D

And my Venom Night Ranger II helicopter.

I'm also forgetting the other 2 RC's from Traxxas that I grew up on....

Boy I love RC's ;D ;D ;D

Well my track outing on Tuesday went ok other then busting a servo saver on the car after one too many hits on the wall. Now the Yellow body has some black duct tape on the front of it lol. Anyways..the RC12L4 is ready to go again with a new servo saver and realignment on the front wheels. But today another RC joins the collection an Axial AX10 Rock Crawler. Now i have a 1/10th scale (the AX10) a 1/12th scale pan (the RC12L4) and a 1/18th scale (The RC18T soon to be an RC18B). There is possably a couple Team Losi 18th scale trucks on their way here soon.

On to the pics of the new Crawler with the RC18T "Truggy" to give an idea of size difference.

Also some updated pics of the RC18 now that it has become a Truggy..(it will be fully converted into a buggy soon)

also a pic of the "race" body for the RC12L4

Say, that's a nice crawler!

Here's one I built from scratch, using automotive 3/16ths brake line and Clodbuster axles. I sold it and regret it all the time. If anyone ever sees the tube chassis, then LET ME KNOW PLEASE!!! I wanna buy it back.

That Tuber looks awesome man..i can see why you regret selling it. Thats my next project to build a Tuber using AX10 axles. The AX10 i have now will soon be getting a new Power Wagon body and hopefully a 55T motor later on along with some custom links being made by one of the local crawlers here. By any chance would you be willing to build another Tuber chassis? if so pm me please.

Thanks for the compliments guys! It was a real #$%* to get everything even on both sides. In the end it drove straight as an arrow, at a whopping 4 miles an hour. I was overpowered for the stock axles, and was twisting off the inner steel axle shafts. I had to buy stainless ones and they never broke. It'd climb up a 90 degree wall and not fall over. Straight up the front and over the backside of the couch. It'd also break your fingers for you.

If I EVER build another one it'll be a lot better. I learned a lot about the proper chassis shape the first time it was built. Also, if I ever build another it'll still be a one off, and the only one. They consume way too much time to make correctly, and no one would pay what it was worth.
