I just went looking for elcheapo's web site, anubis cycle, and came up with nothing. I've sent him a PM but I'm wondering if anyone has had any dealings with him recently. I know as of mid august he had posted that personal issues were affecting his  MC life...

I'm in need of his work to finish a dual disc conversion I'm working on for my 500K1; he drilled my first disc last winter (at a very fair price) and I'd like to have him do the same fon this second disc i just picked up.

If he's not available, I'm open to suggestions to folks who could replicate the drilling pattern of the first disc.

Could you clamp the two discs face to face and then drill through the exsisting holes into the second disc?

Would be quicker and cheaper.

You can also find dual hose banjo bolts at most motorcycle shops or from Speigler.

i swapped emails with tom before thanksgiving,at that time he said he was down temporarily and should be goin again in 2 weeks,well thats been more than 2 weeks ago,if he isnt up yet,then i dont know what to say.i will email him and see whats goin on,if/when i hear something ill let ya`ll know.

I'd be interested in knowing what's up as well. I sent him a rotor and $ a couple months back to get drilled and haven't hear or seen anything since.

After about a month and a half, I FINALLY received two drilled rotors from Anubis. Better late than never, I guess. For what it's worth, he did keep me updated periodically via email and offered a sincere apology for the delay.
I'm simply glad to have them back since I nearly accepted the fact they would be gone forever.
The workmanship appears good although I was expecting a larger amount of holes in varying diameters - similar to examples pictured on the website (before it went down). Instead, it's a simple alternating 3 2 pattern of the same diameter.
As I mentioned, I'm glad to have them back. I wish Thomas well with his personal issues and hope he's back in business soon. Would I order from him again? Most likely not.
For those still waiting, don't give up hope.

I thought I read another thread not that long ago about Tom being injuried and was on the mend. He said something about finishing up the jobs that were already paid for and not taking any new orders until then. Thats why the website was temporally shut down. Hope this helps for some of you. I'm waiting too....would like to get my front rotor done before nest year's riding season. DrMark

FYI...I got to thinking of Tom and went to find his website and was met with the following:

WE ARE PRESNTLY REGROUPING

No new orders will be accepted at this time.

Orders that are in process will be addressed as fast as I can.

Orders in process for gauge faces that can not be filled at this time will be refuded.

Rotors will be drilled. Most of these are done and will be shipped all at once.

We thank you for your patronage.

When we are completely ready to sell again the site will reopen with the original content as well as some new things and an explantion of just what has been happening.

Now off to answer my email if possible, over 3,000 messages!





Sounds like he will be back and better than ever (or so some of us hope!)

i have never dealt with Tom.but i hope that things work out for him and those that are dealing with him at the moment.
i have had some personal problems before and it can wear you down unfortunatly.but eventually things come back together.usualy for the better :)
