Lancia Stratos for "Farm Use".
« on: December 12, 2007, 07:33:51 AM »
Sent in all my antique vehicle forms to Richmond without the $50
that was mentioned on each form. Got the new permanent reg forms
back in about 4 days. So they didn't need the 50--I knew that.
Probably just trying to cut down on people registering
exotic Italian machinery as farm implements.
Who would do that, anyway ?

A man I used to work for, that's who.  Only it wasn't Italian.  Without naming names, the man who used to own the M/C shop in Falls Church that still bears his last name.  He lives on the water in Mt.Vernon.  He has a supercharged Chevy P/U.  He ticks off his wife by burning rubber in the driveway.

That's not a Stratos!  This is a Stratos, and yes I'd like to have it for farm use.
AND, you don't even have to register it for farm use just put farm use tags on it. :)

This is my Lancia Beta. Note the tag ;D ;D

This is a Stratos!

It's a long story, but no.  The ownership stayed with the people who they originally sold it to.  The first management group after the sale was corrupt and stealing money.  The Coleman's daughter, who was part of the dealership for many years, was brought back in to run the place, and it has flourished since.
