There's a similar thread here about what bike you'd buy if you didn't have a Honda.  ;D

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

Yeah mate, I was having a chat with a bloke from Alaska over lunch yesterday, he's a firefighter on vacation here, he bought a Triumph 900 road/trail beast and rode it from Sydney to Melbourne the long way, (via Darwin, Broome, Perth etc) and was looking for the "Tasman Princess" ferry ship so he could ride over to Tasmania before heading back to Sydney and flying back home, he's done 14000 miles so far and has only seen rain once, and is having a ball!
