Source for 750 piston & cylinder liner?
« on: December 21, 2007, 11:40:45 AM »
I'm rebuilding / hot-rodding an old Honda SL125, and from what I've learned, an easy way to bump the displacement on those motors is to use a piston, wrist pin and cylinder liner from a SOHC 750.  Bumps the displacement on those motors to around 150cc.  The 125 cylinder has enough aluminum to be bored to accept the 750 liner.

What's the best source, if any, for this?  I need one piston, one wrist pin & clips and one cylinder liner?  Standard bore will do, not necessarily any oversize.

Thanks for any hints.

Dynoman.net sells new 750 sleeves.  I may have a stock used pistons I will not be using (no need for them).  Shoot em a PM if your interested.  Pay for shipping and its yours.

Did a lot of those. The top of the 750 piston will need a lot of machining. Don't think we used the 750 sleeve as that would have allowed for an even larger piston. May have used a 500 or 550 sleeve.
