I Find This Interesting
« on: December 21, 2007, 08:10:05 PM »

Was browsing the 650motorcycles.com site and found this to be quite interesting. 8) I could visualize a 450DOHC done like it too. :)

                                        Later on, Bill :) ;)

Yep, very common mod of the 650.  This one is nicely done, with a front wheel converted for rear wheel use (19" front and rear with rear disc brake).  The seat is a unit sold by Omar's.

I can think of three or four good projects to do with an XS650 ;D  Hmmm, street tracker.......bobber......cafe racer......old school adventure bike.  It's like they say, thats the best Triumph they never built!!!

To me, an interesting thing is, I've seen lots of the XS650s turned into "Trackers' but so many of them are different in their own way. 8) There are SO many variations of the 650 over on 650motorcycles.com! I've looked at them in reference to using some of their ideas on other bikes as well. The reason I posted this one was because I thought, of all the trackers I've seen there, this one kinda stuck out, you know?

Oh yeah! ;) I've always liked the "megaphone look" for an exhaust system myself. 8)
