cb400f rocker arm bolt removal
« on: December 23, 2007, 12:50:45 pm »
The bolts(90084-333-000) on the outside of the cylinder head that hold the rocker arm shafts are flaking their chrome off so I would like to replace them. Can I just unscrew them and not worry about anything going out of adjustment or is it more complex than that ,requiring removal of the head cover and anything else? If it is a simple removal what do I torque the bolts to or do I just tighten them up good? Thanks and merry christmas and happy new year to everyone.

Yes you can just take them out. they have a aliminium sealing washer also, clean them up or replace them. screw them back in, you will feel when they are right. they have a large 14mm thread.
