550 exhaust swap

Does anyone know if an aftermarket Jardine exhaust made for 77-78 550 will fit my 73 550?  I have a rusty 4-4 and the Jardine is a 4-2.  If not, does anyone know where new exhausts for 73's can be bought?

Im not sure if it will fit or not but, Im sure the experts will be here soon. ;) You can get three kinds of 4-1 exhaust at www.denniskirk.com 2 of them are $214 the other is $300.

The engine interface for the exhaust is the same for any CB500 or CB550 from 1971 to 1978.  There is some variance on the muffler mount position regarding the frame throughout the years.  I don't know how universal the Jardine muffler bracket is.  But, one shouldn't be too hard to make, in any case.
