'76 cb550 Carb Question
« on: April 09, 2005, 01:55:52 PM »
Hey,
i just started working on my 76 cb550, i got it about a year ago, it had been sitting covered in this guy's paint shop and had not been run in years. i had it running today but it would only start and run with the choke plates closed and at a high RPM. when i first got the bike i cleaned out the carbs, but this is the first time i've tore apart carbs and cleaned them. is there something i missed? or did i knock them way out of adjustment when i cleaned them? any help would be appreciated. thanks!

Sounds like you have something way out of adjustment there
