Hello....................from the parky North West
« on: January 28, 2008, 04:14:34 AM »
................of Canada that is, where it is currently  braceing -32 or colder in  the wind, a far cry from my native Sussex! delighted to report that the CB750F1 brought a month ago is safe in the cabin with me and the dog..............much to the shagrin of the Husky 'Olde but Gurde' which is under 3 foot of snow waiting for its ice studs and my frontal lobotomy.
Great Site loads of info ive found already which i shall need!! Bike starts, stops, runs, idles well, ive only ridden it round the block. Cosmetically vgood/orginonal bar some hand painting touch up on the frame and a moody tailpipe that belongs on the other side of somthing else!!
Waiting on manual, filters, points, carb kit, Mac tailpipe {mad prices for 'stock stuff} etc etc etc to get the bike ready for gently tooling round the Rockies in the spring.

Thanks

Had to be Brit using a word like "parky" to describe the NW Canadian climate at this time of year!

Hello Matt.
This is the current Husky...........the 3rd, and the 1st enduro, i quite like it, not quite as brutal as the 500cc crossers {road legal in England back in the day hehehehehe} but still enough to keep you working and somewhat scared.
Pics of the CB to follow shortly, mislaid vital cord...................

welcome to the forums!   It's a 0 degrees C here tonight.  I decided to stay in and watch the Karate Kid instead of grinding away fibreglass for my in progress cafe seat.

Cheers!

Great looking bike! here's mine

That's my 87'. the 86 is in boxes at the moment. actually I'm restoring it along side the 350F  ;)

BTW, found a great source of parts state side for these bikes:
http://www.husqvarna-parts.com/page/page/3737813.htm

The fella doesn't have all the post 85 husky parts on the site but if you email him he's got a lot.
I got a rear shock seal head and some gaskets for under $120 from him last year.

 Cheers, Matt.
