Stock needle clip position

I just took my carbs apart and cleand them and I need to know the stock position for the needle clip. Its a 77 cb550f with o69a carbs. They were all second position from the top is this correct. Any help will be appreciated, I tried to find out looking through threads but cooulnd't find information.

Thanks two tired I finally found it after i posted. I have another question. I think maybe the carbs have been rebuilt before, but not sure should I put new needles in it? They looked okay but I dont want to have to tale the carbs back off after I get them on,I made sure to clean them real good even the small holes in everything. I really appreciate all your help.

It is "possible " to have worn needles on a high mileage bike.  So, if you have shiny spots on them, they could be worn, as could the jet needle orifice in the emulsion tube.

The needles should have a number on them.  Not sure without looking it up, something like 2703, if they are Honda parts.  If they are not Honda parts you can only tell from measuring the needle and jet for size, tapper, etc.  I have some measurement data.  But, I'll have to search around for it.

How about your air screw needles are they hollow tipped, or solid tipped.  Stock was solid.
