looking at new bikes
« on: February 03, 2008, 12:11:58 PM »
well i'm going to take the plunge, i'm heading to powersports of greenville tomorrow to check out the new triumphs. i dont imagine theyll be a whole lot different that when i worked for a trump beemer dealer back in 2005. i'm leaning towards either a thruxton or a bonneville. my insurance has really dropped now that i have a spotless clean record so i think a new bike is in my future. i'm really liking the bonneville t100

Take a look at the scrambler as well.  Triumph's are good bikes, just I have 2 retro bikes and didn't need a 3rd looking like it, :D

when i worked for the beemer trump dealer the only thing they ever came in for was regular service. never saw a new generation bonneville with a problem.

The Thruxton kick ass. I was on one yesterday. The Scrambler and Daytona are really nice, can't wait to see the Street Triple, but the Speed Triple.....IS THE BEST.

Hey fuzzy, if you let this drag on too long, your list of possible bikes might grow which will make it more difficult to decide which one will come home. :) Good Luck with your decision. ;)

well i couldnt get financing on an 07' BUT i went to charlotte this AM and i DID get approved for a new 08 thruxton, dont understand that but the finance guy told me that it's easier to get financing on a new bike rather than a used one. i'm home looking at finances now, trying to decide if i can afford the payment and the increase in insurance.
