Amateur CR tank for 350f
« on: February 11, 2008, 09:26:45 PM »
I love those cr tank that i seen over the SOHC and internet. But most of those cost a bomb. So right now I have this chance of getting it done by a tank maker for less than $100. But the thing is this guy's shop is not in my country so I am trying to figure out some dimension for my cr tank to be fix to my 350f. Without experience and never done it before.

This has make me scratch my head:
1) How do I measure the underside of the tank which meets the tank and the frame?
2) Length of my tank = 630mm is it too long for 350f?
3) Width - Front portion = 230 and near to seat portion = 190, is it Ok??

Sure like some help from the forum. Wonder those dimension given will work??

Sorry to steal this photo from this forum, sorry bro hope you dont mind. Sure like this tank.

My cardboard tank. Sure is amateur stuffs.

My initial drawing of the tank with dimension. Dimension is in mm.

Big question: How to correctly measure the underside of the tank??

I would start with measurements from the stock tank and transfer them to your drawings.
Do you still have the stock tank?
