Thats Sam - the Sam Green - and that bike, when he gets it tuned and calibrated, will be a 130mph+ machine and be a solid challenger for the British Land Speed Record in the 175 Class  ;D ;D

Geez, that bike looks, and sounds, like TOO much fun. Thanks for posting it for us, Spud.

Whose the old geezer at the controls, and don't ya think you should add some rubber cushions to the fork uppers so he doesn't bump his head on'em?

Hi Art, The first target is the British record that stands at 118mph. Next is the world target at 126mph. The outright record is the American National record of 133mph. What speed will I attain?.....I'm not sure Art, I'll be able to tell you in May when I have made the first tests.
At a guess I would say the first one will be no problem, the second, possably and the third, I may need some help (NOS). ;D ;D

Hows the hot rod doing, have you been able to put any miles on that big motor?

Break them all Sam, be sure to wear your Speedo doing it!

The Hot Rod is still under its cover in the garage.  Too cold, wet and snowy here for any more miles, but Spring is on the way.  I'll have some video soon with any luck.

I am undergoing knee surgery in two weeks, so that will set me back a bit, but I should be riding by the time the weather breaks for good.

later,
Art

aye up johnathan any thing bigger than a certain size you have to publish to something like you tube and insert a hyperlink to it which is the world page link next to the email link
and the warning will come up automatically come up any way to tell you the file is too big if you try to upload it anyway as you have probably seen!

No new news apart from a little bad news.  Several meetings have been cancelled or had the format changed.
The first meeting on the 10th May has had the all important kilometer distance dropped in favour of a mile and a half speed trap.
I have been in touch with another promoter that might be able to put on a kilo sprint, I still have to hear from him.

All the threads about this attempt that have been started by others, I've found most of them and put the links here.
