400F petcock question

Is the plastic piece that goes up inside the tank supposed to come out?  Will I get one when I buy a new petcock?  It looked just like my Z50's but I noticed it isn't coming out near as easily.

you talking about the little, most likely clogged, grime catcher?

should come out.  should get a new one too i would expect.
