Topic: 550K Alternative Tail Light with pics. Opinions?

 The other day I was searching ebay for a smaller tail light for my 550K.
I came across this unit for a '99-'03 Yamaha RoadStar and thought it just might look good on my 550.
 So today I temporarily "mounted it" and took a couple of pics. Sorry about the crappy pics, it was raining like hell and didn't want to roll the other scooters outside.
 Keep in mind that the light is not mounted; just being held on by some magic string.
The unit can be raised or lowered on the fender, and it will be sitting flush when I decide to redrill the fender and extend the wiring.
 Let me know what you think........................Good or Bad!

I like it! I think it might look good with out the Chrome cover as well, but it's real nice!  Do you mind if I ask how much it cost?

No problem. I paid $25.50 shipped.
I do plan on removing the cover though. Imo, the light simply fits the bike aesthetically.
Obviously I have a LOT of work to do on the 550, but I've been in a parts collecting frame of mind here lately.

looks nice,iam not too fond of the huge rear tailliight either on the 750's,looking at some other options thanks for the idea,i noticed a new shadow at the dealer last week,with the perfect tailight looks a little like the one you have
