Hello from Ireland
« on: March 17, 2008, 12:00:14 PM »

Hello and now a bit of blarney !
Just found this forum while timing my cb 500f. Have to say its absolutely super duper ,well done everyone. Im a bike nut just like the rest of you and thanks to this forum i got the bike running really sweet for a burn up on St Patricks day. Ive been into bikes over 30yrs and i must say that despite my bikes being mostly Italian(currently Ducati, Bianchi and Moto Guzzi),I have a real appreciation of the cb 750 and especially the cb 500 which will lean over on its ear without complaining. These are landmark bikes and should not go unstated.

Welcome from So. Calif.  There is something about the Irish and bikes.  When I was married to a Dutch/Indonisain woman, I stopped riding but was able to hang on to my CB350F.  Now that I am married to an Irish lady (O'Neil was her maiden name) we have 5 motorcyles.  She likes to ride with me on the Sportster and I am fixing up a CB650 Custom for her.
Now  1972 CB350FX (experimental v2.0)
        1981 CB650c Custom with '79 engine (wifes)
        1981 CB650 engine
        2004 HD XL883C Custom
        1977 Yamaha XS750D (in progress)
Then 1972 CL175
        1964 Yamaha YGS-1T
No ride is a Bad ride
