gawd, I can't believe I JUST NOW found this thread *duh* great idea for a registry

so yeah, I had a leave of absence this winter - too much drama, busy schedule, business doing crappy, etc. etc.

Just been hanging out again around here, the last few weeks and hope to stick around now.

1) Loonymoon, 1973 CB350F - clueless enthusiast- but slowly learning!!
2) Hope, 1975 Honda CB550K - grew up on bikes & been riding all my life
3) Ingrid, LOT's of bikes including 1976 Honda CB750, my brother took me for a tour when I was 12 and I was hooked since...
4) Ladyvorlon, 77 CB750F. Here I am my first rebuild, and think I did ok...not bad for a woman! LOL ....painted, cleaned, switches, bars, brakes and so much more...and a very understanding father, who's knowledge made it all possible!
5)Kitsune84, 1980 CB650c - First rebuild, learning how to ride.
6) Mosquitojones.,clueless mechanically, been riding for about 10 years, only bike is a CB650.
7)Adya 1972 CB750. Been riding on the back for years but finally decided to get my own.
8)mbritt, 1977 CB400F, don't know the lingo yet - but having fun learning!
9) Moto-BunnY, CB500 (Kira). Michigan-> Oregon transplant w/ years of experience. Likes late night motorcycle rides, bunnies, art, and music music music!
10) Inkscars - 1977 CB750 four K - First bike, first bike rebuild. Well versed in the mechanical field. Been working on cars, and small engines for almost 9 years now, although professionally I stopped about 2 years ago.
11)JLove, and I started riding last year about a week before I went on a 2000 mile trip through Deal's Gap to Georgia (from Michigan). I was on an 81 (Kawasaki) KZ 750LTD that belongs to my special man friend. I have since then bought a 1980 KZ 250 LTD and a 76 CB550.
12)MickeyX- Owns Samson, the 1980 CB650 that is "Not A Parts Bike" but rather generously loans parts to Kit's Delilah.
13) DCLee- Proud owner of a '79 CB650, rides and wrenches- but hopefully more of the former soon!
14) Marie- Spanish-dwelling French woman, riding and loving a CB400SF for work and pleasure!
15) Coldright- Riding the hell out of her ~~gorgeous but dirty~~ dirty gorgeous '74 CB750

here is a picture of Kira last year - she pretty much looks the same now but not for much longer, as I have a lower and more square 'sissy bar' that I am going to put on. Also, I run her occasionally without all the baggage (her, not me. . .lol) but since she's my daily driver I keep them on most of the time.

Next time I take the bags off (when she's nekked!) I will get more pictures.

Hey Kit,

Yes, they are 11 inch shocks. It has been lowered 3 inches front and back. It is actually rides comfortable and smooth that low !!! I like that blue myself, my favorite color. So the hubby did right !!!

I rock the 11" shocks, too, though the 650 had 13" originals... so 2" drop via shocks and eventually a 1/2" drop going from 17 to 16" wheels.

I might eventually go with 12" shocks and put the 11" ones on MickeyX's 650... but that all remains to be seen. I just love that these bikes can be modified with the inseam-challenged in mind.

Very nice bike indeed. Have you gotten her out on the twisties yet? Kit and I are kinda slow on them but they are still fun to ride. It really gives you the full effect of why these bikes were a big deal when they came out. They have so much grrrrrrr.

HI!!!! I am very new to all of this! I live in a beautiful, very rural (=great riding opportunities) part of Va, on the Chesapeake Bay. It's so beautiful here, riding a bike is definitely the best way to enjoy it that I've found.

Got my first bike, loving it! 1977 CB750 F2 Super Sport aka "Martina" She's perty! Going to dive into repairs/restoration as time allows. For now, she runs fine, could use a good tuneup, but other than that, I am perfectly happy with her! I am glad to see such fine solidarity among the women of the SOHC world! Glad to participate as well. Please accept me among your ranks, and I'll try not to catch anything on fire! For now, I'm trying to get my "CB" legs har har har, and I will keep you posted on bike work! For now, here are pics of my dirty girl (I'm shining her up this week, no worries). (I've also posted them on new members page, so sorry for duplicates)
