Forgive me. Another spine frame bike. Must be a rigid and light SOB huh?

Image from Eurospares.

Heck while I'm at it... for a Yamaha TZ250. Info says Egli.

Sorry for the poor quality in the first two. Eurospares I think offered these pix. Info I have says "Joe Allen 750 dirt dragster".

OK, I have this spine frame thing out of my system... for now. ;D

Thanks scunny! I really appreciate the tip; Did some sleuthing as a result of your help and and now add you to my list of people to blame for my endless time on the 'net. ;D

While there's much to learn about the Konig bike(s) it appears at least one version had the spine frame I'm so preoccupied with.

Mark Newcombe, son of Kim.

I like the aesthetics of this bike particularly with this livery. It reminds me of Bruce McLaren.

Here's an interesting link. I'll have to read up on Mr. Newcombe as well.

Thanks Shenanigans, that is stunning. Most BT-based "sports" bikes I've seen tend to be too long to look good, but this guy has managed to keep it all compact. The widely spaced frame tube allow the engine to be mounted well forward, with the front cylinder head poking out between the front down tubes. He's also flipped the gearbox backwards by 90 degrees.

A lot of thought has gone into this bike. Nice  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Glad you pointed those details out steelworker. Not being very familiar with HD I didn't appreciate all of what went into this cool bike.

Now that you mention it I do see how shorter it seems compared to some other HD powered specials. I like the solution for exhaust routing too. Better than that bike the Ace Cafe built IMO.

Maybe the French aren't so bad after all. :D

He could have just used a Sportster motor to get the same effect, but maybe he just wanted a bike with a kickstart.  ;D

I agreee this bike is a lot better looking than the Ace Cafe bike, parts of which I like (the 100" S&S engine, mainly!), but the bike as a whole was a big disappointment to me.

And yes, the French are ok really. A little spikey sometimes, but ok. :)

Did you take the BMW survey? I hope they build some variation of this... and not with an MV Agusta price tag!

I like this one.

Very clean and like the attention to details! Do you know if this place does only Ducati's? That one person ramp looks interesting and they even have a My Space page... but then who doesn't? :D

Good find. Now I wanna find some sweet Honda twins and thumpers.

not sure on the details, although that has got to be one of my favorites thus far.  So minimalist and so smooth.  I'd be tempted to just outright purchase this bike rather than build my own (its pretty much exactly how I would do it.  I recently picked up a ducati monster and came across that ducati when perusing the monster forums.

That one is very nice indeed, but I would have to put some shorter rear shocks on it.  It looks like its going to do an endo just sitting there.

Thats cause its on it's center stand with the front end touching the ground. I saw that bike and the second one the guy made at Rockerbox, a Milwaukee bike show. Both looked awesome, there was a spread done on them in Cycleworld about a year ago also. The guy builds them out of his garage. I like the other one he built better but both are great.

Sure are lots of fancy bits. Whats the story with the swing arm and forks? I dig the nice detailed side covers. What did the supercharger do for your bhp? Looks fantastic.

Shenanigans, I really like that white Suzuki too! Very cool. Like that smelly looking blue/white Honda too.
