Yeah, I thought maybe I could afford to buy just the engine and then build a bike around it, that was until they told me an engine was $14k.  :'(
The high price is mostly because the Pound to Dollar ratio sucks.

i'm surprised they didn't mock you for your insolence and throw their empty bottles of dom perignon at you while demanding to know how a proletarian got past security.

btw: the guy who asked about clock position seems to have deleted his post. i feel kinda bad for the mocking n junk, now.

I posted this one before, but I pulled a quote from it, and want to post it again, along with the quote.

Quote
"Part of the adventure of building a motorcycle is having a limited budget.  Part of the soul of the bike is having to kind of work for it.  And if you just, you know... buy whatever you want and put it all together... yeah, it'll be a cool bike, I guess, when it's done.  But if you really have to scrounge around and try and find obsolete parts and stuff, and really have a target budget when you build the bike, and you can make something really nice, I think that's part of the reward of the bike when it's done, and that makes it appealing."  Carl Bjorklund

This is an aha moment. I was contemplating how to jerk around the stock bracket and this dude just strips it to the bare buy it at Home Depot minimum. I have been inspired. Also my forehead hurts from the slapping and stuff.

This would give TwoTired some nightmares I think but it's purty  ;)

That moped would definitely work when gas goes above 5 bucks a gallon.

it's because of bikes like this (honestly!) i'm like a randy adolescent.

every time i see a modern sport bike all i can think of is what it might look like with its clothes off!

hubba hubba.  ;)

when riding a moped  or Wizzer sans plates, if you flick off a drive belt, and pedal it, it can be a pedal bike... ;D

The yellow/black bike better look good he wants 40 K for it.. :o
