I'm a parent too 550, if you think your kids don't hear much worse at school then you are sadly mistaken, also this is a forum for the OWNERS and supporters of SOHC Honda's, haven't run into any 5 year olds lately while browsing the forum..... ;D ;D ;)
No offense meant at all.... ;)

What say we get back on track here gentlemen, and you can use THIS as inspiration to do so. I know, I know, repost. Whatever. Watch it again. It's worth it.

His name is Alan Kempster and his story makes one feel humble.
He redefines "Can do." into "Will do!"

I think this is fits the bill. Can't seem to link he video right, whateve..

First of all, this was not meant to offend anyone and quite the opposite.
It's become brutally obvious that our Aussie sense of humour and our venacular gets a little lost once it goes north of the equator.
To those that understood the joke and pointed out the bleeding obvious, especially those that PM'd me, thanks.
To those that didn't, and probably never will, "get it" ...... meh .......

Now, back to being inspired  :)

I hope this isn't a repost or in the wrong thread!
It's here 'cos it's a cackle AND inspirational.
Enjoy!

Sure is Frank, Japanese and cool. I like the cut of that seat as well, i have seen similar on old Honda race bikes and they had the rear step up bit and looked cool...

Just for the record I got the video.  Basically it was just making fun of the idiots who slap clubmans and call it a day.  That and have no idea what the original cafe racers were.  I do agree though maybe should have been put in the humor section.

Not a SOHC, but pretty damn nice build :o

this bike is sick!!! the leaf spring rear is awesome!!

do you have more info on this build/bike?

Christian Dotson.   If it's not him, it's a blatant rip off of his meticulous style.  He did this bike (slingshot) a couple years ago.   Cool dude - worked at GM in the design dept at a very young age for a while.  He's in Texas now, not sure what he's up to these days.  Need to look him up.

Both are very rideable bikes.  Not everybody's cup of tea, but they are original and unique.

Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.
