INTENTIONALLY lowering the bike onto the engine cases is an adventure riding thing, although you typically see it done with a BMW.

nice K0 on its side there, double cut fender correct chaiguard and sprocket..
I see a dent on a heaser pipe, must have off roaded it.
For those that dont know ot...yet, picking up a 750 in thart position, will often bend the bars if you do it without planning..

Somewhere I have a pic of my CBO 73 on its side, but it had case gaurds..

My guess is a catch can for the rocker box breather. We used to use v8/orange juice cans. They were a little smaller than a coke can.
