His rear brake does not look so well. Its arm is curved and runs outboard of the shock.

Looks like he has bent the brake actuation arm outward for clearance.  Actually probably one of the better installs I've seen.  There are no bends in the rod, so it will not flex when actuated.  Does look ugly though with the rod ourboard of the shock.

 That scenario is likely why they used cables on some bikes...
Triumph or something used a big offset on the rear arm going to a rod. It can work well if the brakecam is well supported by a good bushing/bore and the offset bar is stiff enough. (to prevent flex) Look at all the offset on some rear brake pedals and shifters..

Without having read any of the details, it just looks unfinished. I like the direction but something just says "A few more weekends in the shop and this thing will be done!". Just my .02.

+1 apex-seeking.  There is also zero travel in the rear, so it will ride like a hard tail, and handling will be suspect.

Looks to me like there are a few inches of room at the rear.
 On my 836 the top of the tire sat where the top of that rear fender is, was strutted. Still rode ove 600 miles in a day on it..

Agreed 754, on 'travel'.

In the write-up they mention using very stiff springs.  It would also appear that the lower shock pickup has been moved rearward.  Given the minimal clearence, they would have been better off using struts.  1st good pothole, and the tire will foul on the underside, which will make life interesting. ;)

He is way better off than struts, trust me..(except for holeshots)

 As the bike get lower you want LESS and stiffer suspension.. you cant compres both ends 3 + inches like a stocker.. things are going to hit. Any suspension is better than none.. struts is a very rough ride.
 Not everyone needs gobs of sensitive suspension.
 And yes the tire will go up higher than the frame rail, if fender is mounted from above, rather than below, like stock.

when I 1st saw this last 750,I rated it highly as a cruiser,but on ly a C as a daily ride,mainly for its suspension limitations
