Where is Andy?

Wonder if I could talk him into checking out the 71?  ;D ;D
It's just on the wrong side of the Mason Dixon line. ;)

Hey,  Mike lives just up the road from that address.  Maybe he can check it out.

That would be great, I don't mind a basket case.

Those bikes belong to one of the Boston area Honda guys. Andy, Mike, Chris(frostypuck) and myself have been to Steve's warehouse and have seen all of those bikes. He's cleaning house because he's moving. I don't remember much specifically about that '71 but Andy probably does. We talked briefly about taking it on as a group project. As the price comes down I've been eyeballing the '78K which I remember being in decent shape. You could also contact Steve directly with any questions.  ;)

I will be spending a great deal of time in the area. I may contact him if he has anything left when I get there.

Hey Rocking M!

You should buy that bike! Its pretty good. As Mike said we have all seen it in person and Steve (the guy selling it) is a friend of ours and fellow SOHC rider. The K1 is a good project. I was going to get it but lack of cash and 2 other bikes put paid to that. Anyway, tank is clean inside, lots of bad chrome flaking off all the engine covers and has some cool custom tappet covers. Seat is stock, bars are not, tailight is stock....wheels rusty....thats all I can think of just now. Not a bad deal overall.

Let me know if you need something more or contact Steve via his website www.hondarestoration.com

cheers
Andy

Thanks Andy! I contacted Steve and I'm mulling it over.
