Well lets see. I have... There is this... sometimes this...  ???

Hell aside from cleaning my turn signal switch, my bike has no problems. It does not leak oil, the shocks are fine. Everything works. I suppose I need to tune the air/fuel mix but that is not a problem!

Nice to have a K8!

mine bogs off the line, its just a needle clip position, but i cant be bothered so just ride through it. all i have to do is drop the needle a clip and it would be right, but....... well.... lol

Found a new way to be stupid- having a great ride today, then blew the main fuse. By dumb luck had a few in the toolkit, so coasted to a stop 3 times before I remembered that the horn leads were just hanging loose underneath, and happily shorting out when they blew into the head. I had taken the horn out to confirm that it was dead, and in typical lazyguy fashion neglected to think beyond that point.... ::)

As of now, the only complaint I have about my cb650 is the fact i shouldn't use too much throttle during the break in period...

Other than that, i'm ecstatic about the lack of leaks with this engine build so far... but i've only logged about 7 miles as of now.

Other than that a completely blank stare from the honda parts guys asking if it really runs still is annoying too.
The only person there that has any idea is the manager... and she is the only one there older than my bike.

Well when I hit 40,000 miles, I will let you know. I doubt miles matter much!

every now and then it will lose all power(like key is turned off) long enough for me to pull over, take off my helmet and gloves and get of the bike then it will come back on.

This just happened to my 550 the other day.  pulled in to get gas, after i got it, turned the key on, my lights blinked out after half a second.  Turns out the plug into my ignition key switch is messed up - its plugged all the way in, but wont complete the circuit unless it is pulled up toward the top of the handlebars....so i got some zip ties, hooked them around the bottom of the plug and tied it up.  Someday soon, when im not so busy ill have a closer gander at it :)

So you don't think number of miles on a bike has much to do with that bike starting to have problems?  Aside from age then, what causes a vehicle to wear?

Dis-use can. After all, you cant take a barn find and dump gas in it and go. But regardless of you insinuation, Improvements were made in every year so problems one year may have had, another may not suffer from so much.
