Triumph Throttle Cables
« on: April 09, 2008, 12:20:10 PM »
Ok, lets start by saying I did use the search function before starting. So here goes. My bike (1975 cb750k) was a piece of junk when I got it. I have replaced or reworked just about everything. I ended up going with clubmans and recenlty bought a cheap throttle meant for a triumph. I have long since thrown out the throttle cables because they were melted in the middle and knew I was going to just replace them. However, I need to know if the ends of the cable that go to the throttle assembly are the same as the cb750 or if they are different. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You might want to give Motion Pro a call - they can probably tell you what you'll need, and supply the cables.  I had them send me a new throttle tube (about $20) and a new set of shorter cables (I think -3", around $40-50) to go with it.  Bolted up and works perfectly.
