Topic: 550 racer almost done

Now that this topic has been pulled up...how well does the CR fairing fit on the 550? I had pondered it for the longest time before deciding on the prostreet look like chopstars fourpack. Wasnt really sure if it would be too wide for the smaller 500/550.

Now that this topic has been pulled up...how well does the CR fairing fit on the 550? I had pondered it for the longest time before deciding on the prostreet look like chopstars fourpack. Wasnt really sure if it would be too wide for the smaller 500/550.

We weren't sure if it would fit or not either, but it fits the 550 like a glove. The 750 in the background is mine, and we tried to fit the fairing over the wider 750 engine...it was really tight. I don't know how they fit those fairings to 750s without cutting reliefs for the stator and clutch cover. We did have to modify the fairing mounts a bit, but nothing major. All in all, it fits great and looks pretty trick, even up close.

i want to know where can i get a set of those alco rims ?

The rims are stock sizes and from Wheel Works in Garden Grove, CA. They also bead-blasted and clear powdercoated the hubs and built the wheels.
