1977 cb750 front rotor

Will a rotor from a 1977 cb 750 work on a 1972 cb 750 front end. They look identical in the ebay photos but just thought I would ask.

well a 72 doesnt have disc`s, it is a drum setup so you will have to replace the hub as well at least

A 1972 cb 750 has disc brakes on front even the 1969 K0 had disc. Not sure if the 1977 will fit though.

In fact, the disc brake was one of the most touted features of the 69 CB750.

No problem I think the later bikes had disc on the rear as well. The early ones had drum rears
