Anyone live in Boulder that can help out with a local buy....then ship to UK ?

I think Freddy (mrbreeze) lived there, but has recently moved.

Naw Sam.........I was just thinking of moving there last year until I got this job I really like up in the foothills of the Sierras in Calif. If it weren't for this job,I would have bailed this state in a heartbeat!! There are a few members out there in Colorado that should be able to help you out though. Just got my new internet hooked up Saturday.....feels good to be back (its $50 per month but thats the price you pay to be in the boonies).

Hi Terry, there's a guy on another forum selling a tank for an RS125 that would suit my bike if I can do a deal with him.
He has it on ebay and will only ship in the USA leaving me in the cold. He also requires payment by paypal that I don't do.
Most people will take cash if you turn up on their doorstep (saves them postage and packing) but I'm in the UK.
Plenty people on here will vouch for me, so the finance side is not a problem.

I should have guessed, you being a Raiders fan.

We havn't had it on UK tv for quite a while now, not sure why. I used to enjoy the games

perhaps it's off season like the drag racing.

Yeah Sam....its off season. Preseason starts in Aug. amd regular in Sept. The Raiders are looking to kick some ass this year (Iv'e been saying that since the mid 80's!!!)........Hey,we are due!!!!

The tank is for my drag bike, I need a spare that I can cut the rear end lower so I can tuck further in.
The road race tank catches the bottom of my breast bone and is uncomfortable.
I dont want to spoil my existing tank, should the bike be returned to a road racer.

We're here to help. Heffay is probably the closest. Is this the same guy that just sold a 77 750F with 900 (not 9000) miles this morning for $6000? I was hoping to take that bike on the Old Bike Ride this Saturday

No Jerry, it's a guy on the USGPRU forum, he only bought the bike recently and found a problem with it, decided to part it out.
It's a shame really as it looked a nice bike.

First question: did you contact the guy and asked whether he would send to UK? I would say that 90% of sellers that will only ship to US, agree to ship to Spain in case I win if I ask beforehand.

Second question: how can you use eBay and don't have Paypal yet? You need a Paypal account. It is free for you and you never now when would you need it. Sure thing, they charge way too much, but seems there are not many alternatives...

Not that I don't value the offers of Colorado members, but I just wondered you had "shot all your bullets" before....

Also, it was not done through ebay, the guy is a member of another forum that I frequent.
I PMed him a mail via the forum.

I registered for paypal but when I bought something and tried to use it I messed up and have never been able to access it since.
