Where to find brake perch boot?
« on: June 03, 2008, 07:14:38 PM »
Hey everyone, anyone know where I can find the rubber boot that slides over the brake line and pipe piece near the handle of CB350F. It's shaped like a L.

The PO decided to wrap the one on there with what looks to be tennis racket grip. If anyone has one lying around I would love to get one that way as well (buy or free)

Thanks for reading,
SD

Get a part number for it and see if it is the same one used on the 750/550/500. If it is, look at ebay auctions for those other bikes.
This is a common part in 750 auctions and should be ez to find. You might also just try the dealer. They'll suprise you sometimes.

Thanks for the reply JSaab, thats a really good idea. I'm pretty sure your right and they are a universal part. Does your bike have a similar boot that I'm talking about? Also could I take it off till I get a replacement and not worry about a leak? I think it's just there for looks but I'm not sure.

If anyone knows where to grab one or any more info I'd appreciate it. Thanks for your time :)
