FNG from Minnesota!
« on: June 04, 2008, 06:54:11 PM »
Just getting back into bikes after 25 years. Raised a couple of taxpayers, now, I have found the bike in my avatar and am trying something new! Bike was in 3 boxes and 1 crate with a few extra parts from a Ford truck and a house re-model in for a tad more confusion! Have never messed with bikes this much before but am looking forward to getting it running! Have ridden in the past, Rupp minibikes to Honda 750 fours.
Will be asking a TON of seemingly stupid questions but bear with me please!
Later,
Kenny

Welcome!

Dang man!  You've been graced with a missive from one of the (if not THE) most knowledgeable peeps in the whole dang world on the topic of early Honda bikes.   You should play the lottery today.

Seriously, you'll find this is a great forum with a bunch of really great folks with some parallel interests.

Welcome!

We'll need some more detailed pics before we can answer any of your questions. ;D
Welcome and if you are ever up in Taylors Falls give me a shout and I'll ride with you.

Nice wheels and good looking engine there.  :)

Do you have any idea what a "never used" Amen Savior frame with wheels (Kaw mags I think) and front end goes for?  My brother has a line on one and I'm trying to understand their value "ball park".

Again, Welcome!

Gamma,
I gave $1100.00 for what you see in the pic. I think it was a little much now that I've been looking at others that have come up for sale on e-bay and other forums I have found.
The frames and parts for them are also being reproduced by this company,
http://www.prairietechinnovations.com/ .
They are calling it the Springtail. No prices in the catalog yet though.
Good luck and thanks for the welcome!
