Show us a picture of your motorcycle.
« on: June 05, 2008, 01:26:18 PM »
Hey so I know there's a gallery for SOHC, but I searched around and couldn't find a thread for everyone to show off there ride. Hopefully this will kick off and we can have nice single thread for everyone to browse through and maybe grab some inspiration or just burn some time. Preferably pictures of your motorcycles or friends motorcycles and a small bit of information. If you guys want to open up the thread to showing all toys (as long as they aren't random pics on the internet) we could do that to, just let me know.

So I'll start:
This is my Honda CB350 Four, I bought it for $350 non running about 2-3 months ago. Right now I'm having the carbs rebuilt (waiting on parts) but soon it should be on the road. My plans are to clean it up give it a new coat of paint and maybe make a custom bolt on one seater for it, but besides that I love it the way it is.

Thanks for looking, and show us a pic of your bike!  8)

Take a look through the Owners Registry:

It's pretty much what you described you were looking for.

Gorden  thanks for the recommendation, but hopefully this will bring them all together also a lot of people don't post pics in the registry. Thanks for the heads up though.

My '75 CB400F just recently put back on the road after a year long rebuild: I'm currently enteraining offers locally. As you can see from the bottom photo, I'm a little big for the bike.

Hey Tom8Toe - is your bike the one I have been seeing parked down on Shilshole off and on the last few weeks?  If so, it's as good looking in person as it is in the pictures.

Thanks Bwaller. I wish, bikes, or cars, always look better in pictures IMO. With the sun shining on them the paint always looks better, the chrome always looks shinier, you can't see the cracks in the rubber or the smoke from the exhaust.

My son got the cycle bug when in high school.  He was sort of wild so I held him off a while.  When he came back from his 1st year of college he was determined to get a bike.  I could hear the excitement in his voice...I knew what he was feeling as I had that same excitement when I wanted a bike...back in 1969.  So I bought this not working 1980 CM400E from a friend for $50.  We restored the bike and it is a fantastic runner.  He rides it like the wind.  He even had some Harley guys at a gas station compliment him on his Honda ride.  He is very proud of his bike.
