Well well well, i never knew there was a bridgestone bike, i always associated them with tyres alone, and i never thought harley would make a bike as small as a 125.
Interesting clip there kghost, thanks

Tim, that was really cool to see all those old ads like that. I remember all of them and then some (when they were original) and it kinda gives me a boost to see them like that. 8) ;)

troppo, there was also 90cc bikes  made that wear the Harley name. It was about the same style as maybe a Honda CT70 or so. And they also had a scooter called a "Topper".

                                 Take care, Bill ;)

This proves my point. Babes and bikes go together. In some of those ads the babe was bigger than the bike in the layout. Maybe that is why the Babe Thread has over 50,000 views. I guess SOHC owners like girls also. ;D

'Harley' even had a 50cc minibike, if memory serves. I think it was another Aermacchi. Anyone?

And those Norton girlie ads.......... ;) I've collected most of them over time (for reasons that are biased-ly obvious) simply because as a young neo-rider they were the things I drooled over in my motorcycle magazines. And they get sold for silly money on eBay!

        Nick, here's a 50cc (M50S) that I found:

        here's an X-90

       here's a 72' "Shortster" and it could very well be a 50cc.

        Does that help?

Now, I've got one of these Sprint SS350s, but it's minus a few things like the ...um.... engine! ::) Basically, it's a roller with the gas tank, fenders, exhaust and handlebars. Got a place to use the fenders and the gas tank though. ;D

I DID find a source that would sell me what I needed to make a complete bike out of it. Problem was, I just don't think I could afford it, you know?

There was a lot of good times to be had on those little bikes. I had a little 250cc Ducati and nothing since has given me so much pleasure. I took that thing on trails and anywhere else you could bring a bike. Looking at those old ads makes me nostalgic. That is a real nice little bike Bill, maybe if you hunt around you can slowly get the parts you need without busting the budget.

Here's John Flynn (from Calgary) at last years Motogiro. His bike attracted a lot of attention, not least from the HD crowd who couldn't believe that HD would have a name on a bike like that.

PS. He just got back from doing the original Motogiro in Italy.

its funny how unscantily clad those "scantily clad" women were from the 60's and 70's.
