Carb fittings for various years? 550k

I've stripped the threads on one of the carb bodies on this bank of carbs for the '78 550K.

 :-[

Are the carbs interchangeable for any of the years on this thing?  I can possibly tap new threads, but replacing them might just be easier and give me a better 'warm and fuzzy' feeling.

PD carb were only used on two models of 550s; the 77 and 78 K.

Still, they had different internal setups.
