Thanks for that Derek....Mark Twain could spin a yarn for sure......I've heard stories of him bailing out of San Fran and hiding out in Angels area.....famous author and lots of landmarks & folklore up in the hills to these days.

That's funny Hef, we sign all the concrete.

Here is all the garage got............

Here are my daughters and my hand prints in the house bottom floor 5 years ago. I took her out of school that day and she jumped right in and learned how to screen concrete, she was 10 at the time, it was a good day

............ The circle on photo is of our dog who has sinced passed

Here are all three of us on the back deck last year

they got me.
I have friends and relatives following this from afar as well, forgive me my photo content.

according to mapquest that will be about a 6000 mile round trip.................no problem for the mighty 750!

That's a 1/2" piece of plywood under the wifes 350 , floor is like glass

+ that floor was done 2 days ago now.

The garage floor has a 4 inch grade over 24 ft towards the front and the apron has another 2 inch grade over 8 ft to the driveway

and it all slopes away left and right from the garage.

My electrician donated his time to wire up the "Gabriola Ferry Line up Cam"

I have been quite busy around here, cleaning up the mess, today the electrician and I hit it quite hard

I found a garage door company that will run one of my doors up the 30 degree sloped ceiling so the runners don't screw up my interior roof line. They are coming on Monday. Need a bigger door motor and a heavier spring and it will slide right up there out of sight
