1980 cb750 Oil in ignition case??? backfire??? help!!!
« on: June 27, 2008, 09:28:59 PM »
Working on a 80 cb750 and just cleaned and replaced carbs.
now the bike will barley ideal, cylinders 1 and 4 are cold, and 2 is warm/cool, and 3 is hot.
I went to the points/ignition cover and popped it off and oil came out.

Here is my question is there supposed to be oil in there?

if not how to fix that?

there shouldn't be oil in there, does it look like it is coming out of crank bolt or maybe just road grime, if its coming out of the crank bolt its not good, someone who know more about this should chime in.
