Hey Seaweb, where did you get those Tarozzi's from?  I saved a pic of them late one night and honestly couldn't remember where the hell I had gotten it from!! :D

Looks good Mike, and I bet you can chalk the poopy enginerring that they did up to a new engineer that has not that much experience, believe me being in the sign industry for 10+years I see new engineers coming up with some strange things sometimes  ;D

For those that wonder why there is no 550 in Tarozzi's application list....550's were officially never imported to Italy. I've heard the set for the 500 will bolt onto a 550 though.

Jim is a good guy. I was missing several pieces to the kit and he got them to me immediately. He orders from Tarozzi once a month so if he doesn't have the kit you want it may take a little while to get it. I was very happy with the level of service I received.

A fine concept that took some real thought (on my part) ::). Those pegs rotate with the levers too. Sounds weird but it does work.

by the way, am i understanding right here? the levers don't pivot independent of the footpegs? the only thing holding up the custom rearsets i designed is figuring out how to eliminate this problem. i ripped mine from an old italian design (paton), but i welded the lever assembly directly to the peg in the mockup stage and haven't moved beyond that yet. if i had a lathe it would be a breeze...
Right Paul. The pegs and the levers are basically "one piece" design that rotate on a collar inside the peg. I had to modify the right peg to get it to work smoothly. The lathe made quick work of it.

i was worried that one might accidentally shift gears for example, if putting too much weight on the peg in a hard corner or something. does the shifter side rotate fairly freely, or is there a bit of resistance to stop what i described from happening? i guess it takes a bit of force to shift gears anyway...

It would be impossible to accidentally shift or brake with this setup. It's certainly different (Italian) but it should work OK. I haven't even had a chance to ride the bike yet.
