Topic: 350 cam chain tensioner

Ok got the broken screw out of the engine,
Cleaned out all the sludge, including the millions of aluniminum flakes!
Check everything as it is going back together...
Found the tensioner is not in good shape! the broken cam sprocket bolt apparently ran the chain off center and messed up the rollers and left a wear mark in the roller frame. Can anyone suggest a source for a replacement? I have no intent on racing it, just want it to go back together straight!

Bikebandit.com wants $105 for the tensioner and roller! I'd be happy with a good used one!

I got new rollers and the arm part too for way less than $105 from the Honda dealer.

Maybe $30 or $40 bucks.

Cool. I'll check my "local" dealer. He's only an hour drive away...

A frequent problem with this engine is people installing the tensioner upside down.  It will bolt up, but quickly chew itself to death.

Got the tensioner! I hope to get it installed soon as I fix my septic tank...
