HONDA CB 550 K2 1976 restoration project
« on: July 19, 2008, 06:27:21 PM »
Here is a slide show of my HONDA CB 550 K2 1976.
The bike is named SPIKE. That is the name that came along
with it. It was a Cafe Racer rat bike when it arrived and now
it is a rat bike in spirit with improvements. I'm always adding
more pictures so be sure to come back and visit from time to time.

'Oh #$%*!' is usually the moment when your plan parts ways with reality !

Soooo cool, you took someone's nightmare idea of a cafe racer and reverted it to a decent looking road machine that was way cooler than the Harleys you were parked with ha ha.
My congratulations on the restore, simple but very effective and you end up with something you can ride with pride...cheers for sharing Brianzenc.
Oh yeah and ignore Marti, unless he can weld something to his bike it don't count lol. ;D
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!
