  • Tryin' To Slow Down "Time"!

Fellow named Ken Crane @ http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/YamahaSR500CafeRacers/

has been building on SR500s for a while and making things for them for himself and others. Now, has started his own site to sell these parts to others and also doing some engine work such as porting. He is starting to add some things such as rearsets too. Anybody interested, should check out.

Seems like an up & up setup and just thought I'd pass it on to anyone who might be interested.  ;)

Hi, Bill, years back I had one that Paul Dunstall had "played" with, impressive pick up and noise,----remember that they were awkward to gas flow as the inlet track had to be built up rather than machined out for best results
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

yamaha needs to import them again. I hear SR400s are still outsell most models to this day. Pretty unbelievable.

There are times I wish I'd kept my SR500.  Fine machines.
