Okay.....so i'm a member over on the Jockey Journal, which is mostly dedicated to choppers and the like. But recently they started a thread over there talking about the late Denver Mullins orginator of Denver's Choppers. It's really amazing to read the stories from the original guys who's started that whole era out in Cali. Denvers daughter Lisa has even become a member and contributed(posted) a ton of stories about her father and has shared many family photos. Many thanks to her for opening up about family life with Denver...at home and around the shop. Denver was a huge icon for motorcycle and custom motorcycle building.....you have to read all the pages of the thread.

And.....you just might be amazed to find out which motor he preferred most...even over the Harley's....hum??? Hint...inline 4!! LOL! ;D

Please take the time to read this:

His favorite bike...per his daughter Lisa

Enjoy the read,
Greg

I've been watching that thread for a month now and it is truly amazing! The pictures are out of this world and the info from those who were there when choppers were king just blows me away. A must see for long bike fans ;D
There are old bikers and there are bold bikers but there are very few old, bold bikers.

Not doing what you can to make your bike ride-able during the best riding months of the year kind of defeats the purpose of owning it in the first place.

I'm not into choppers but man, do I see the passion here. What a great thread. That Denver guy was certainly one out of the box and how nice to see his daughter being able to see the different aspects and facets of her fathers life.

I loved the '70's, what a great era to be alive and young in.  So I'm diggin the bikes, the flared trousers and the beehive hairdos on the girls. All power to them!
