Blubbering 750 at 1/8

How much blubbering at 1/8 throttle is acceptable? My K6 is stock save for a 4 into 1 with electronic ignition, and I cant believe those mods would warrant a different pilot jet. All my tune up bases are covered: Valves, timing, sync, cleaned carbs, etc. I wouldn't mind so much except that slow speed cornering is dicey with the uneven power at this throttle opening. Engine idles best around stock air screw settings. Any suggestions?

I have a K6 with a Dyna-S and Mac 4-1.  I'll check my jets and my plugs and let you know what I find.  I'm sure that my jets are not stock - I think mains are 105s from factory?!  My mains are probably currently way too high.  It seems to run great but I have to look at the plugs....

My plans are to jet down - probably close to factory if not factory, go to HM341s (just got a new set) and run the HondaMan ignition instead of the Dyna-S.

did you try to raise the needles one notch..????
did you do a plugchop....

Ive adjusted the needles and mains properly. The bike runs great from 1\8 on but stumbles a bit below. Ive heard that you shouldn't have to touch the pilot jets in less you radically change your engines breathing.

Sounds a bit rich.
Hows your air filter?
Turn the airscrews out another quarter turn (turn them in first to get your baseline). See how it goes.

I had/ have a similar thing going on. My bike was a bit rich, I dropped the needles to the 2nd from top, made a good bit of improvment. Then I put the air screws at 1 3/4 (had them at 1 turn out). Even better but still there a touch, depending on the air temps, bike runs "cleaner" on a cool high barometer day (like today). Oh mains are 120`s, pilots???? (stock), stock airbox w/paper filter, 4into1 and elec ign. Hope it helps.
