Topic: g-tac vs dynolicious on the iphone?

i downloaded g-tac for the iphone before seeing that dynolicious supposedly is better. g-tac is 5 bucks, dynolicious is 13.

anyone used em or have an opinion?

for those unaware, the programs use the iphones accelerometer to calculate 0-60 and 1/4 mile speed and acceleration etc. i think the more expensive one supposedly calculates HP based on inputted weight of the vehicle.

They look interesting.  Are there any other phones that have a built in acceleromater?  I was hoping my Tilt would have one but haven't been able to find anything saying yes so I am assuming that it does not.

seeing this thread makes me want a cellphone now. i had one for a brief period before i realized i had it because the wife wanted to keep tabs on me, last i saw the first phone was in my 20 ton shop press  that was 2 years ago

Ipod touch is cooler, and you don't have to have that pesky 2 year AT&T contract.

My job pays for my phone too.  I got the best one that they made available to us.  I was hacking it as soon as I pulled it out of the box.  I just can't leave well enough alone.
