Beartooth Pass

First...  thanks for telling me how to add a picture.

This is a pic of my friend and me on the top of Beartooth pass in Wyoming/Montana yesterday.  I rode my 77 CB550.  My pal rode his 73 175 scrambler.  The bikes performed flawlessly, but the 175 had nowhere near enough poop for any kind of speed going up.  This may be one of the most beautiful drives in America, and I'm very fortunate to live so close.

It was amazing the way the people would walk by the Harleys to check out these old Hondas when we were stopped.

Hey Montana550, I made it there couple weeks ago! I had to leave my CB at home, but I got to take my family. Is the Cascade fire still burning (cough, cough)? I considered doing an Eagle Rider rental from Billings, but couldn't quite work it out, maybe next time.

Its a great road with fond memories.  It was raining when we left Red Lodge but my wife kept wiping my faceshield until we got enough elevation to get above the clouds. That was on my 750-K3 in 1975. Another great road near you is Alternate Hwy 12 through the Big Horns.  Watch for hang-gliders and authentic Sherpa sheep herders.
