« on: August 27, 2008, 12:04:43 PM »
ive been looking for a fairing/flyscreen kinda thing and i think i am gonna get benji's fairing.

i like the look of the numberplate but i kinda need a light. i was thinking about getting the numberplate and finding a small foglight/drivinglight and putting it in there. anyone use any small lights they can recomend?
thanks

You could probably get a small one that's off a newer european moped that has the dual small halogan headlights...just use one of them or something...Acerbis might make a headlight you could use? You really want something that is DOT legal or you might get hassled about it? Since it would be painfully obvious it's not stock.

Lol, well I wasn't sure if you had a problem locally...I know some people do. I don't. But if that's the case than anything small and round should do the trick...if you want to retain the high-low beam function you'll have to do some more digging though. You could probably get a small sealed round bulb at an autoparts store and get that to work. I know the headlight on my Derbi GPR50R(2003) was stacked top to bottom and they were two small seperate lights. One of those would work perfectly...too bad they aren't exactly common. My Acerbis headlight I have on a streetfighter project has one round sealed beam bulb and another seperate bigger bulb...if you got something like that and just used one of the bulbs that could work...getting one used on ebay might be the most cost effective though.
