Pilot screw issue

This is on a quad and i just rebuilt the carb and it has the spring on it but it keeps backing out after a few minutes of riding question is does anybody have any ideas how to fix this problem, and would thread lock work?

Is there an empty notch on the pilot screw like there should be an o-ring, or if there is an 0-ring, is it dry and shrunk?

It's all brand new and i don't think it had a notch ( i will look at the old one)

update: yes it has a groove for the o-ring but it's brand new.

Get it adjusted and coat with blue rtv silicone around the top. It is removeable with your fingernail and seals nicely.  I also used to use fuel line over the needle valve on model aircraft engines when they would back out.  Same idea.
