I'm probably going out on a limb here, but I'd guess it would add the weight of the paint.

no.....cause ya sandblast the paint off before powdercoating..........paint is probly heavier than the powder......

I've actually always dug the comstars. Especially powdercoated. Think they'll look sweet.
