These are tagged up to '76, but will they fit the '78 also?

Sirius Consolidated sells motion Pro cables for the 78 550k,they are on ebay and you can email them,make sure you tell them it's a 78.I am getting mine from them next week,about $18-19 a piece.Oh,don't order the ones on their Ebay site like I did,those only fit up to 1976.
If you email them the'll tell you which ones to order for your 78.
PS they're good guys,after I sent back my wrong cables they refunded me before they even got them returned and they're shipping is super fast.

Cycle-re-Cycle has the motion pro cables for 13.95 and 14.95.  They are great folks and ship really fast.

Last October, I ordered new OEM throttle pull 17910-426-610 $26.24, throttle push 17920-393-000 $29.55, choke 17950-404-670 $18.41, clutch 22870-374-000  $16.36 cables from www.ridenow.com.

After installation, it was like riding a brand new bike.  The throttle is smooth again, the clutch is smooth and much easier to pull, as well as being easier to adjust than with my old Motion Pro cables.

It was my understanding that OEM cables have teflon liners, and therefore need no lube, so I used none.  This has served me well for almost a year and several thousand miles now.
