Topic: Bates fairing & cycle burro search

'74 CB750k, Am looking at Bates fairing on ebay (part #737) meant to fit triumph 650. Question: Other than the mounting brackets and relative positions of the attachment points could the shell be of the same mold used for the cb750? I had one on my '74 but don't recall the part number. They look the same. What is the headlamp bucket diameter measured from outside leading edge of chrome bezel? I'm going to modify the supports as needed. Also am looking for a "cycle burro" single wheel trailer if anyone remembers those. Can be seen on youtube if you type in single wheel trailer. I put 148.000 miles on my 750 in 5 years of riding, most of that w/trailer attached. Never replaced brakes or clutch. Am building another to tour. Thanks Bill

I am new to this forum. I sse you mentioned a Cycle Burro Trailer in your post. I recently purchased a well used one . I am looking for technical/ historical info on these. Anything you could share would be appreciated.
Also in June 2010 i believe there is a post on BMWOA where someone mentiones that they were going to post one for sale. Requires registration to reply.

Email a bunch of salvage yards and ask if they have a uni trailer.
 Old Scrambler on here has a buddy that runs one a lot of the time. We were riding with him last fall and it handled nicely.
